Little Mix or Little Nix?

We Love Manchester

Little Mix have hit back at the people who criticized their outfits on stage at the One Love Manchester concert earlier in the month.

The group, made up of Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, were slammed by people who deemed their outfits ‘inappropriate’ for the charity event, with some even calling the girls ‘disrespectful’.

Jade said, “We wear what we wear and we love it. We’re confident in ourselves and I think that should be praised.”

Whilst Jesy told her haters to “Sod off”, Leigh-Anne explained the reason they wear small clothing whilst performing on stage.

She said, “Also, it’s really hard to dance when we’re wearing lots of stuff. Do you know what I mean? It’s more airy and comfortable to move!”

Performing their Number 1 single ‘Wings’, the girls told the sold-out crowd at the Emirates Old Trafford cricket ground they were ‘proud’ to be at the event.

I admit when I watched this last Sunday I did comment was Sunday afternoon a place for bum cheeks, grinding and wiggling? Especially when Ariana wore a jeans and a sweatshirt. More appropriate for the event involving children.

Maybe I’m just a middle aged grump. What do you think?

About Baby Bel

I'm a single mum, waiting on my knight with shining armour but the best I can hope for is my 7 year old wrapped in tin foil. You can normally find me on my hands and knees (cleaning the kitchen floor). Getting wet in the bathroom (cleaning the kids honest). Dirty in the garden (digging weeds). Being creative in the kitchen (spaghetti hoops on toast ah viola!)
