MEET THE 2017 CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER HOUSEMATES.

Celebrity Big Brother has returned once more!

The ultimate reality show is back on Channel 5 with a new batch of celebs entering the famous house.

It’s just a few days since the “normal people BB” ended but after a quick wash down and touch up the house is ready for some well-known residents. (in some cases).

One by one the celebs are going in on tonight’s live show, with my girl crush host Emma Willis showing them the way in. So who is in the Celebrity Big Brother house this year?

Let’s meet them…

Shaun Williamson

Shaun Williamson (Barry from EastEnders), was first to go into the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Shaun says he’ll get ‘Barry from EastEnders’ on his gravestone as crowd chants his name.

From 1994 to 2004 the actor played the looser wally son of car dealer Roy Evans who moved to Albert Square when his dad took up with Pat Butcher. “I don’t miss EastEnders at all.  I haven’t since the day I left. When Barry played an evil shit it was great, but I wouldn’t go back to playing a loser again, otherwise I might as well have stayed,” he previously said.

He told Emma that after a number of appearances on Big Brother’s Bit on the Side with Rylan, he thought he’d come in and give it a go himself.  Image: C5 & Getty Images Europe

Sarah Harding

Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding was next up.

She shot to fame in 2002 when she auditioned to be part of a girl band as part of ITV’s reality talent show Pop Stars. The Rivals. As part of the competition, Sarah won a place in the band alongside Cheryl Tweedy, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh.

The group went on to release five albums including 2008’s chart topping Out of Control and 21 Top 10 singles including chart topping tunes Sound of the Underground, I’ll Stand By You, Walk This Way and The Promise. Sarah describes herself as a tom boy and one of the lads.  Image: C5 & PA

Sam Thompson

Sam is no stranger to reality TV. After joining the cast of Made in Chelsea in 2013 he’s practically an old pro.

His cheeky charm and good looks have also helped earn his a substantial following on social media, where he has upwards of 400,000 Instagram followers and more than 120,000 Twitter fans.

He’s not the only family member to be in showbiz. His sister Louise Thompson is also a star on Made in Chelsea.  Image: Flynet Pictures & PA

Derek Acorah

Celebrity Big Brother gets an extra housemate as Derek Acorah enters the house with his spirit guide Sam. Most Haunted’s Derek Acorah says he’ll discover any ghosts that are in the CBB house.

Derek was a regular face on television in the 1990s when he hit the big time when he joined Yvette Fielding on smash-hit paranormal show Most Haunted. His most memorable moment was when he announced that a ghost called Mary “loves Dick” (assuming Mary meant late husband from the physical world).

He became a cult figure but sadly his career ended when Derek was accused of fabricating his “insights” when he claimed to have been possessed by the spirit of a ghoul called the Kreed Kafer (which is actually an anagram of Derek Faker).  Image: C5 & PA

Marissa Jade

Marissa Jade, 32 is a New York model, actress and star of reality show Mob Wives.

As well as Mob Wives, Marissa has appeared in TV shows including Gossip Girl, The Good Wife and Law & Order. She also appeared in Will Ferrell’s hit Christmas movie Elf.

Marissa is also rather proud of the fact that she was the inspiration behind the main character in comic book series Destiny, Queen of Thieves.

She has been known to fight with the other wives and girlfriends on Mob Wives and could stir up some trouble in the CBB house.  Image: Flynet Pictures & PA

Sandi Bogle

Telly addicts will know that Sandi and her childhood pal Sandra Martin have been on Channel 4’s Gogglebox since the TV show started back in 2013.

After the show’s success she went on to release a single called Casanova in 2016. Her track was a remake of the classic 1980 dance song by Coffee.

As if that wasn’t enough she’s also the cousin of supermodel Naomi Campbell.  Image: PA & WireImage

After failing to secure the heart of Joelle ‘JoJo’ Fletcher he tried to have better luck on The Bachelor in Paradise but was kicked off the show after being involved in aggressive confrontations. Image: Flynet Pictures & PA

Karthik Nagesan

Karthik competed on last year’s Apprentice in a bid to team up with Lord Sugar.

He was well known for his monobrow, cocky attitude and many clichés. Karthik said during his time on the show that he’d “make a good Prime Minister” and promised that he’d never pluck or shave his eyebrows. He said: “I’ve got a nice big monobrow, for the last ten years people have been telling me, pluck it out and be like everyone else. But Karthik is not someone who is like everybody else, everybody else wants to be like Karthik”.  He has also said “I am competitive as a leader.  I believe in being an emperor not a tyrant, so when I enter a certain social scene I immediately take up the leadership role whether or not the crown is placed on my head.”

Karthik was fired after seven weeks on the show and since then he’s been one of the guests on BB spin-off show Big Brother’s Bit on the Side with Rylan. Image: C5 & WireImage

Brandi Glanville

Aside from a 17-year-long career as a model, Brandi is perhaps best known over the pond as one of The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills.

She first appeared during the second series of the hit US reality show before advancing to a full cast member in the third series. She quit after series five but returned in a guest role for series six in 2016.

On 12 May 2011 Brandi tied-the-knot with Sunset Beach actor Eddie Cibrian. The couple have two sons together, named Mason and Jake. However their marriage ended in divorce because Eddie reportedly cheated on her with LeAnn Rimes, whom he later married.  Image: Flynet Pictures & PA

Jordan Davies

Jordan is best known for his many stints on Ex on the Beach. He first showed up on series three in 2015 alongside the likes of Kirk Norcross and Jemma Lucy, who also entered the 2017 CBB house.

Jordan famously dated Megan McKenna and even got engaged to her after they got together on Ex on the Beach. CBB bosses may be hoping that he’ll spill the beans on their fiery relationship. They appeared as a power couple on 2016’s Ex on the Beach with Jordan even getting down on one knee in the show’s final episode. The engagement was short-lived as the pair split a few months later.  Image: C5 & PA

Trisha Paytas

In January 2007 Trisha launched her YouTube channel blndsundoll4mj and has so far reached over 2.8 million subscribers to the channel.

Jemma Lucy

After appearing on Brat Camp Jemma featured on Katie Price’s short lived reality show Signed by Katie Price. She is most famous for finding love and causing trouble on series three and five of MTV’s Ex on the Beach. She has also made a name for herself by sharing her cosmetic surgery procedures on social media including botox and bum implants.

Jemma is far from shy on social media and has engaged in twitter wars with a number of fellow celebrities. Amelia Lily

Amelia first hit fame on X Factor 2011. She progressed to the Live Show stage where she was at first unsuccessful. However when former boyfriend Frankie Cocozza was ejected from the show following many broken rules Lily was reinstated as his replacement. She progressed onto the next live show and made it to the final where she performed with her mentor Kelly Rowland and eventually lost out to Little Mix and Marcus Collins.

Following the show Lily was signed by Sony with a £500,000 record deal and soon released You Bring Me Joy which peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart and number 21 in the Republic of Ireland.

In 2015, Amelia was in the West End production of Green Day musical, American Idiot playing Whatsername, the only lead female in the show.  Image: Flynet Pictures & PA

Paul is best known for his role in the Channel 4 show Hollyoaks as Sol Patrick who he played between 1997 and 2001. Paul also appeared in the UK comedy Ten Minutes in 2003.

He took part in Celebrity Love Island in 2005 where he hit the headlines after his outrageous behaviour on the ITV2 show saw him sensationally removed. After the show Paul hit back claiming he was misrepresented by the shows editing. He said: “They cut it down to an hour a night and picked out my mad bits.”

After the show finished he told reporters, “I will go back to LA because no one knows me from Celebrity Love Island. Also it’s easier to start from scratch as an actor. Over here people are a bit more dubious because they think they’re hiring a reality star rather than remembering I’ve done a couple of films and was in Hollyoaks.”  Image: PA & Flynet Pictures
