No Summer Shows? TV Binging is on the rise…….
Binge-watching, also called binge-viewing or marathon-viewing, is the practice of watching television for a long time span. Usually of a single television show. In a survey conducted by Netflix in February 2014, 73% of people define binge-watching as “watching between 2-6 episodes of the same TV show in one sitting.”. Wikipedia
So you are sitting home on a Monday night. You turn on the television and realize, there isn’t anything on except reruns. Ok, so now what? Well, as many of us “real women” do, we find something to binge. Ok, I have seen the reports how people who binge-watch are depressed and lonely. How it isn’t good for our minds but who cares. I want some tv time and I am not depressed and I am not lonely. I just want to get away from the “real” world for awhile and live in someone else’s life for a bit. As I flip through the On Demand channels I realize that I have missed a lot so I pick up the phone and call my sister who always refers me to something great to watch.

It truly is a great series. It caught my attention with Season 1 Episode 1. This is a much watch. I haven’t watched “Orange is the New Black” but from other, I have spoken to, they liked “Wentworth” better.
I am now caught up and tomorrow. June 20th is the final episode of season 5 so I will be watching!!! Now, I need a new BINGE so PLEASE.
